Emma Howe – Masters PHTY, B Ex Phys, APA Member
Emma graduated from the University of Queensland in 2016 as Valedictorian with Masters of Physiotherapy. She received the Dean’s commendation for excellence in clinical placement. Emma also has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology.
Since graduation in 2012, Emma has extensive experience working as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in a community private practice. For the past 3 years Emma has been practicing as a Physiotherapist within the hospital system. She has experience treating orthopedic patients particularly those post joint replacement and lumbar spine surgery, neurological patients and cardiorespiratory patients. Emma also has worked within the rehabilitation units both at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and the Wesley Hospital.
Emma is a goal focused Physiotherapist who’s aim is to work together with her clients to achieve the best possible outcome. Outside of work, Emma loves to spend time with her family being as active as possible and enjoying the outdoors. She has a passion for exercise therapy which has stemmed from her early life where she played competitive tennis at a high level.
