Exercise Physiology

Movement is medicine, and if you don’t move it you lose it. Exercise has been found to be the best
medicine for almost everything, cancer, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal conditions, pain
and autoimmune conditions, metabolic disorders and mental health.

Our team of university-trained exercise physiologists can assist you with specific strengthening and conditioning programmes to help you achieve your physical best.

Whether your goals are to lose weight, get fitter, be stronger, improve your balance, reduce pain, reduce muscle tightness and spasm, relax and feel better mentally, get out and meet more people we can work with your goals and devise an exercise plan.

 

Our Facilities

GYM – We have a strength and conditioning rehab gym at our facility in Nudgee Road Ascot, where our EPs can work with you to improve your function and strength

KLT – Kinetic Link training is a strengthening programme done all in standing. Arms and legs are worked together and balance and fitness is enhanced with this circuit class.

CLINICAL PILATES – Our exercise physiologists are fully trained in equipment Pilates and if your condition requires gentle graded strengthening they will probably start your exercise journey with Clinical Pilates in our studios (Ascot and Bulimba)

HYDROTHERAPY – We conduct Hydrotherapy classes, and one on one sessions at Ascot Aquatics Centre in Lancaster Road, Ascot, and at the Colmslie pool.

HOME VISITS – If you cant get out to see us , we can come to see you and give you home based exercises.

GROUP EXERCISE – Small group classes can make your NDIS budget go further

DANCE THERAPY CLASSES – dance is a great form of exercise for fitness, balance , co-ordination and leg strength. Ask about our classes and see where you would like to be.

Our Team

Our Exercise Physiologists: – Todd, and Holly will explain your condition educate you about its management and get you on to the road to health with an exercise programme that suits you.

We are NDIS approved providers so our EPs can assist clients with exercise for their specific needs and goal setting.

Our EP services are also covered by EPCs (Medicare), DVA, Workcover and Private health funds (check with your fund)
